Gamifying education to make learning fun, accessible, and engaging for children ages 7-14.
Designing for children is a UX challenge: interfaces must be intuitive, forgiving, and incredibly stimulating. The goal was to create an Islamic education app that could compete with commercial games in terms of visual quality and retention.
I designed a complete visual ecosystem centered around "The Hoopoe," a mascot that acts as a learning companion. I structured the UI around positive reinforcement loops—coins, gems, and trophies—using vibrant colors and chunky, touch-friendly UI elements. I also directed the promotional animation, ensuring the brand story was consistent across product and marketing.
